Lez' Arts Rosé
Stargazing Night

These are the moments I love...

…the quiet planning and preparation before everyone arrives to take their place around the table. I set the scene, and light the candles knowing that I am about to enjoy a splendid evening with good friends for a night of stargazing.

I was so fortunate to be introduced to Marrenon Lez’ Arts rosé, as this was the perfect pairing to the night I had in mind; a rosé from the heart of Provence and an awesome French inspired summer board.

This delightful wine, with its beautiful pale salmon ombré, is the colour of a warm evening sky at the height of summer. The perfect inspiration for an evening alfresco….

introducing my friends to Lez’ Arts rosé...

As mid August is the best time to watch shooting stars, I host a stargazing night every year. This generally takes place in our garden where we sip cool rosé followed by soft conversations beneath a blazing sky of shooting stars. There we lie, gazing skyward at the magnificent display of celestial lights, chatting until the early hours of morning.

This year I’m going to use the occasion to introduce my friends to Lez’ Arts rosé, a Provençal wine from a vineyard in the Luberon mountain area. I’m going to theme my table to the iconic colour and artistry of the label; so, among others, I will choose red roses, pink peonies and eucalyptus to add the delicate scent of Provence.

alors tchin-tchin...

I will be serving platters of olives drizzled with plenty of olive oil and an added pinch of herbes de provence, fresh sourdough baguettes, figs wrapped in Serrano ham, charcuterie, a good selection of British cheese like: Lincolnshire Poacher, Snowdonia Red Storm and goat’s cheese; plus an arrangement of fruit which will match the fresh red fruit nose of the Lez’ Arts rosé.

The fabulous thing about creating a spread like this, is that you can spend your time looking after your guests and not worrying about the food; just make it pretty and enjoy the stars…

With a glass or Lez’ Arts of course.
